The Mega Mover® portable transport unit is rated to transport up to 800 pounds. Unit is intended for use by professional staff for lifting and transporting/transferring patients. It is recommended to use at least 4 people to provide safe transport/transfer. A backboard can be placed on top of unit and tucked into pockets provided on the unit. The Mega Mover® is not designed for use without back board when there is a need for spinal stabilization or traction of the patient being transported.
The MegaMover® Transport Chair is made of strong nonwoven material with 8 reinforced nylon straps for ergonomic lifting. The Chair weighs only 10 oz., rolls to the size of a water bottle and can transport up 350 lbs. Ideal for carrying patients in areas of limited space, narrow hallways or down stairs.
